Video/DVD/Game rental giant Tsutaya is now offering an HD video on demand service via the acTVila portal which is, funny enough, a collaboration of TV manufacturers such as Matsushita (Panasonic), Sony, Sony Communication Network, Toshiba, Sharp, and Hitachi. Another way to escape from NHK.

Michael Renassia aka Aï-Hz is a French visual performer and filmmaker currently living between Tokyo and Paris. He is using compositing software in a diverted way, and real-time mixing instruments with the aim to create a noisy/pop universe and a sexy/disco poetry based on music.

Japanese NHK and JAXA have released two HD (720p) videos of the Moon. The videos have been filmed with a Canon camera and are shot from a recently launched satellite.
