J*WLS Graphix…

J*WLS studied motion graphics in Seattle and came back to France to start working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. She matured in Lille a girly/fresh/colorful visual style which got her quick local recognition (collab. with Konkrite, exhibition in BeyouK store, exhibition at Customania fair) and collaborations with international magazines such as WAD or MEX, Brazilian artist Tee project Gallery. She moved to Tokyo in mid 2007 where she collaborated with local brands (3rd Ware) and artists (On the march remix project by visual artist Shantell Martin). She recently released a T-shirt elected by US brand Artcotic and featured in Asia’s biggest artist fair: Tokyo’s Design Festa. From Tokyo she keeps being active in France, she recently took part in Les femmes s’en melent / Linkartz’ exhibition at Espace GHP in Toulouse. Now ahead is the development of Glamarchy homemade-screen-print apparel brand, created by her and her partner Fleche… a project that explores various concepts, giving her the opportunity to expand her graphic style…
